| Selly Oak seems to divide opinion - a student infested hellhole, or a vibrant local centre? For me, Selly Oak is a fascinating district of Birmingham - the bustling Bristol Road, distinctive student terraces, then there are quieter corners and historic locations to explore also. My initial Selly Oak explorations focused on the railway station, the canal and early evening walks back to campus, and the place has drawn me back ever since. The prospect of walking down memory lane yet finding something completely new to explore is very alluring... |
