| The Dudley No. 2 Canal currently links Parkhead Junction near Dudley with Hawne Basin near Halesowen, but the canal once extended via the Lapal Tunnel and through Weoley Castle to meet the Worcester and Birmingham Canal at Selly Oak Junction. It is still possible to trace the remains of the former canal through Birmingham, although I have thus far only investigated the section around Selly Oak Park. |
